Watching videos and logging into services could use a lot of data. I have a couple of solutions for those who do not have uncapped internet, but rely on LTE and 4G for cell phone streaming.
- If you have an MTN contract: Please visit Axxess.co.za, your data will cost you R39/month (3months rollover) for 500mb. Or R67/month for 1GB. You need approx 20 – 25mb to login to our website, watch an 8min video plus play a 4min soundtrack.
- Visit Afrihost.com. Here you can get 1GB of data free on an MTN pre paid sim card. We all have phones lying around, get your MTN pre-paid sim card, slap it in there and enjoy the free data and dance instruction. You could get 1.1GB per month for R10.00. Pay only 10c per MB for Out-of-Bundle Mobile Data!
We use these services and that is why I can recommend them with great confidence.
